Angela Nicholson

I am a freelance photographer, journalist and reviewer of cameras and photographic equipment. I also work on an exciting website called Camera Jabber that’s created for photographers by photographers and I’m the founder of SheClicks, a community for female photographers.

I’ve been testing camera gear from all the major manufacturers since January 2004 and I’ve been Amateur Photographer’s Technical Editor and Head of Testing for Future Publishing’s extensive photography portfolio (Digital Camera, Professional Photography, NPhoto, Photoplus, Photography Week and Practical Photoshop magazines as well as the Digital Camera World and Techradar websites).

I’ve written numerous news and photographic technique articles, covered product launches and major photographic events such as Photokina, PMA, CES and The Photography Show, produced advertorials, generated social media content and assisted with product development – cameras, accessories, magazines and websites.

James Artaius

The editor of Digital Camera World, James has 21 years experience as a journalist and started working in the photographic industry in 2014 (as an assistant to Damian McGillicuddy, who succeeded David Bailey as Principal Photographer for Olympus). In this time he shot for clients like Aston Martin Racing, Elinchrom and L'Oréal, in addition to shooting campaigns and product testing for Olympus, and providing training for professionals. This has led him to being a go-to expert for camera and lens reviews, photo and lighting tutorials, as well as industry news, rumours and analysis for publications like Digital Camera Magazine, Digital Photographer and Professional Imagemaker. He also serves as a judge for the Red Bull Illume Photo Contest. An Olympus and Canon shooter, he has a wealth of knowledge on cameras of all makes – and a fondness for vintage lenses and instant cameras.
